Waze has added Apple Music support to its audio player, allowing users to access their music subscription from within the app.

Waze added an audio player to its app and gradually added more services to it. On Tuesday, the Google-owned navigation tool finally added Apple Music to the list.

The integration means that Apple Music subscribers can link their account to Waze and then control music playback from the Waze app itself. This eliminates the need for users to leave the main map interface to change what they are listening to, minimizing the risk of driver distraction.

“We’re excited to join forces with Apple Music to share their songs with Apple Music subscribers while driving with Waze on iPhone,” Waze said in a blog post.

The arrival of Apple Music follows many other supported music services, podcasts and audiobooks. This list includes Audible, Deezer, NPR, iHeartRadio, Pandora, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, and more.

Waze is a free download for iOS that requires iOS 13.0 or later and 146.9 MB of memory.
